Cats at the Sprint Center
The gang went to KC on Sunday to watch the Wildcats play at the Sprint Center. I chose to stay behind and have the house to myself!
Thanksgiving Guests
We had Thanksgiving at our house this year. Don't kid yourself though, my mom still cooked the majority of the meal. I was in charge of the mashed potatoes and Scott deep fryed the turkeys. I prefer the mess to clean up over the cooking.

Jordan and Aunt Karen. I didn't capture everyone, and I managed to avoid all the photos. We ate too much, but had a great time. Then, on Black Friday, got up at 3:30am to do some Christmas shopping. Every year, I swear that I am not going to do it, and........every year, I get up early to face the crowd!!

Basketball is here!
Grant had his first basketball tournament this weekend in Topeka. They played Friday evening, then back again Saturday evening for 2 games....after the K-State game, then back again on Sunday. It was exhausting, but a lot of fun to watch them play.

Toilet Talk
This lovely mail box is on my drive to Emporia, in between Council Grove and Americus. This mailbox, until about a couple of months ago, when there was a terrible wind storm, used to have a real toilet right below the arrow. This has been there since my days as a sales rep for Kansas Cellular, which was about 10+ yrs. ago. The toilet finally came down, but they have left the rest of it. I think the thing I find most funny is...............look at the neighbor's house!
