Halloween Happiness

We went to the 2nd annual Halloween party at Kite's last night. This year, my hubby was the Naked Cowboy. He is the man that sings in his tightie whities on the corner of Time Square in NYC. Wasn't able to get Scott in the exact same outfit, but he was a pretty darn good sport.

Prom Date?

This is one of Grant's buddies little sister. She just adores Grant. Even after 2 football games, sweaty and stinky, she still insisted on giving Grant a hug. Soooo cute.

Really??

Somebody really puts this on their license plate? I have seen some pretty strange things in my travels the last year, but this one creeps me out. You must also know that there were racing stripes on the side of the car. I didn't get close enough to see what or who was driving.

"HOG" Heaven

Is what Mitch was in getting to watch the big win from the sidelines.
I sure hope he is not getting use to these passes. It was supposed to be Grant's turn, and he was still home in bed.
The kids seeing how they measure up to Willie. The poster was a give away at the game.

Daddy Duty

The troops heading out to the game. Grant and I at home, not near as happy. I don't even think the game is on TV......not on Cox, anyway. Grant is on the mend, but his mean mother wouldn't let him suit up tonight!

Problem

It's getting really cold out, and this just happens to be my side of the garage. This is what happens when your husband coaches every sport under the sun. All of the equipment ends up in our garage.

The FUNdraising never ends

So, I haven't exactly been very good at updating lately, which could mean a couple of things. I come home after work, sit on the couch, watch my hubby cook dinner then go to bed. Or, I continue to chase my children and try to get to their football practices and games on time! I am afraid that it is the latter, but while it is football season, the Baseball fundraising has already started. For Grant's team, we did something new and had a poker tournament among the parents. I don't play cards, except for solitaire on the computer, so I just drank margaritas!
A few of the donated prizes. The best donation was some free lessons from one of the K-State coaches.
For Mitch's team, we tried a bake sale on a K-State home football game. Too bad our fans are too darned prepared. Lots of people, but they all had their goodies with them. Luckily, the boys had football games the next day at the K-State stadium and we sold them all there. So, truth be told, I have been spending a lot of time standing on corners trying to raise money for the kids sporting events.
