Talk about cutting it close. It's almost over here in an hour or so, but, it's the thought that counts, right?

Again, the kids and I glued to the TV. Tonight, men's gymnastics. The high bar continues to amaze me!! Anyway, the boys think that it all looks so "easy". So, we started to do headstands. Little did they know that their mama could out do them. They couldn't believe that I could stand on my head so long. They finally got it somewhat, but I had to start taking the picture before they even attempted, in hopes that I would get a shot of them on their head!! Actually, I challenge all of you to try this at home. And you must share your results!! I can't get my husband in here to give it a shot.
We (meaning mostly me) have pretty much been glued to the TV all day since the women's gymnastics started today. So, while dad was gone this evening, the boys did a little practicing of their own.
With the rain starting at 6am and not ending until late in the evening, all I heard all day from Grant was how BORED he was. He finally decided to count some of his change and get creative. Too bad he waited until 9:45pm to even start. Ok, so he's no artist, but finally took up some of his time.
So much for our weekend lake plans with 2 other couples and their families. Looks like the rain has won. This would be a small river running through 2 of our neighbors yards.
