I hope this wasn't Bambi

As I got out of my car today at Dillons in Salina, this is what was in the small truck next to where I parked. Glad I wasn't getting out for lunch. EWWWWWW!

If at first you don't succeed......

try, try again. We have a possum that has started coming out during the day, so it was time to take it to the country. Grandpa brought over a cage, filled it with waffles and cheese, and this poor little kitty cat got herself caught. I have never seen this cat before, but she ran like heck when I opened the door. Then, this morning, the real deal was caught. Funny thing is, I hadn't put anymore food in it, just some crumbs that had fallen through the bottom of the cage were still there. Grandpa took him out to release him, and the dumb thing wouldn't get out. He had to dump him out, and he just waddled off into the sunset!

What will be next?

First the waffle iron...........now the dishwasher. I knew we had big problems when I stepped in a puddle, and I do mean PUDDLE of water the other night in front of the dishwasher.

O.M.G.

Those were the words out of my husbands mouth when he lifted the box of chocolates and felt how light it was. I insisted that I was not the only one to have gotten in it, and that it has been open for days. Come on, Mom and Dad....help me out here.....you did have some, right, you know, when you babysat on the snowday! Why is it, that while posting this, my 8 year old is asking me if I have done my push ups and sit ups for the day. Guess I better take the hint!

Really Annoyed

I was making waffles tonight to freeze for the week for the kids breakfast......and this happens to me. Yes, I had oil in the batter, and even sprayed the waffle maker. I spent 20 minutes cleaning it up only to have this happen............
It did it again!! I have never had this happen to me before. What is going on????

A Basketball Weekend

Both boys played in a basketball tournament in Manhattan on Saturday. Between the two of them, we had 7 games. Needless to say, Scott was drained, as he coaches on both teams. We had games at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, 2:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 8:00pm. Grant's team went 2 and 2 and Mitch's team ended up taking 1st. The boys waiting for their medals.
Way to go Mavericks!
Still standing after a very long day.

Here Comes the Bride

Our neighbors daughter, back from when we lived in Abilene, got married New Years Day. We were so glad that the boys didn't have any sporting events, and that we were able to make. The boys hanging with the Willey kids. Renae, I didn't get any better pictures of these goofballs either.
Mitch taking his turn with the Bride on the dance floor.
All the single boys waiting for the garter toss. Thank goodness it went over their heads!
Congrats to Natalie and Ryan!
