Mitch and I headed to Aggieville on Friday to trick or treat, meet some friends and watch the parade. He was a little unsure of getting out of the car in his nerd costume, afraid that people might laugh at him.........I kept telling him, that's the point!!

Movin' Up

Grant's fall baseball team played their final double-header this weekend. With moving up to 13 and under, they have bigger fields, bigger scoreboards........... The Pitcher's mound is farther back, the bases are farther...........and

the dreaded metal cleats are now allowed. I think the kids like to wear them because of the noise they make on the concrete!

Movin' On

Mitch's football team played their first game in the Playoff's today. The Manhattan Indians beat Rossville 27-12.........on to the Semi finals next weekend.

Way to go Indians and Coaches. They have made so much progress and so fun to watch.

My Sister-in-law in Atchison posted these on FB today, and I just had to share. This friendly little thing they call Sugar wanted inside their house! Micah wasn't gonna have any part of that. This deer came around several months ago and here she is back again, just like a pet.

Getting a little too close for Dee's comfort, she had to jump in the back of the pickup. Crazy...only in Atchison:)
