Mud pies anyone?

The boys took the 4-wheeler out on Saturday and the early snow had made quite a mess.
This is when mom is really glad she didn't pack enough clothes and we have to borrow the cousins!

Little miss Micah putting all the muddy clothes in a bag for the dirty boys.

Even more glad that we had to borrow Uncle Bill's boots. Don't worry, they do this on a regular basis. He just hosed everything down.

You know you're in Atchison when........

You have Nell Hills on one corner.......
then you go a couple of blocks and around the corner, the local bar.......
"Duck Inn, Waddle Out."

Turkey Anyone?

Scott did one Turkey in the smoker, and then he also fried a couple. Fried is still my favorite way to go. Good work on both, Scott!
My Sister-in-law, Karen.
My brother John with a 'smirk' on his face. He kept looking down, not wanting his picture taken, but when I told him it was going to be blogged and he might not want the shiny spot to show, he lifted his head:)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I am thankful for the fact that my only responsibility today is the mashed potatoes! Well, also clean up, but that's a given. My husband is in charge of the birds, and thanks mom and dad for bringing over everything else!
