Lunch Date

We went to lunch a couple of weeks ago with the Salmans' after church, and these two little cuties could not get enough of "Mitchie Munsen"........which is want they call him. It was so dang cute!

Finally.............updating

I admit, I have been a bad blogger lately, but we have still been crazy busy. I, I mean, Grant, got an A on his Castle Project. Still didn't get a good picture of the finished product. This is it after riding around in the back of a car for a couple of weeks. Misc. pieces had started to fall off. Actually, the rocks around the moat started to fall off on the way to school with it. Basketball season is over for both boys and we have already moved on to baseball. However, the weather is not cooperating!
My oldest turned 12 on March 13th. Where does the time go?? Scott and I went to a parent meeting at Anthony Middle School a couple of weeks ago and I thought I was going to vomit. So not ready for this................but I guess I better get ready. Oh, and yes, that is a pumpkin pie his Grandma made him for his birthday. He would much rather have that over cake.

I still take random pictures while driving hundreds of miles a day. My thought while taking this one was that it is probably a really short man driving that truck.

AND OF COURSE, WE ARE CHEERING ON THE KANSAS STATE WILDCATS!!!!

This is not the norm

Usually, it's someone's dog watching every move as I get in and out of my car. Not this time. This cat was eyeballing my every move. Too funny. What cat likes to ride in the car?!

Castle Project

Grant had a class project to build a castle. We couldn't seem to keep the cat out of the middle of it.
And wouldn't ya know, forgot to take a picture of the final project. It may not still be standing by the time he brings it home.

Valentines Day

Our V-Day consisted of a day at the basketball gym in KC. Grant's team played in a two tournament and ended up doing quite well. They won 3 out of their 4 games taking 2nd place. The team they played for the championship was a team out of St. Louis. They were so much bigger than our kids that their coach asked if we were 5th graders. The boys still played hard and had a lot of fun.
I had my small camera, so pics are bad........but trying to show how much bigger than us they were.

I must admit.....

I did not even try what looks like a small turkey on my plate. We went to the Chamber Event last night, and they served Quail. I was glad I ate a piece of the kids pizza before we left.

At First Glance......

I thought it was a BBQ place...........but nope, it's a cigarette shop, AND, it has a drive thru. Never seen that before!
